Updated: Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge release date: where can I get it?

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge may be tempting you towards a Samsung, and away from its less curvaceous brother the Galaxy S6, but when and where will you be able to get one?

Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy S6 Edge will go on sale in 20 countries on April 10, so we thankfully don't have too long to wait to get our hands on its additional curved displays. Pre-orders open up on March 20.

You'll have the choice of 32GB, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, plus a variety of colours, but we're still waiting to hear how much it will set you back.

Samsung

Head over to Samsung.com or make your way into a dedicated Samsung store from March 20 and you'll be able to pre-order yourself a Galaxy S6 Edge.

In the meantime you can always enter the competition on Samsung's site to win either a S6 Edge or S6.

EE

EE is not only offering the Galaxy S6 Edge on its extensive 4G network, it's also allowing owners to make WiFi calls on their shiny new handset.

That means if you find yourself without mobile signal, but you do have access to a WiFi network you'll still be able to make and receive calls. Clever.

No word on pricing just yet, but expect the Galaxy S6 Edge to feature in EE's highest tariffs and you can register online of updates.

O2

O2 will also be carrying the Galaxy S6 Edge on its bubbly network, but like EE further information on cost is yet to be announced. You can sign up on its website for updates though.

Vodafone

Vodafone has jumped on Samsung's latest flagships too, confirming it'll be ranging the Galaxy S6 Edge along with the S6.

Three

Completing the big four, Three has also revealed it'll be flogging the S6 Edge, but like the others it's keeping quiet on price for now.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone will be offering the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge alongside the S6, but we're still waiting on a price. If the S6 Edge has taken your fancy you can register your interest online.

Online retailers

We do have one SIM-free price for the Galaxy S6 Edge thanks to MobileFun which has the 32GB handset available in black, white or gold for a pre-order price of £699.

The 64GB model is also listed (in black, white and gold) at a pricey £749 if you fancy some extra storage. It's already changed its price for the Galaxy S6 once, so we're not convinced these are the final prices.

Expansys has the Galaxy S6 Edge listed, but there's currently no price and all you can do is register for updates.

It's the same story over at Unlocked-Mobiles, which again lists the Galaxy S6 Edge but you can't pre-order just yet.

Clove also has a "notify me" feature on its Galaxy S6 Edge page, allowing you to keep up to date with pre-orders, prices and the on sale date.
